You can turn TLS Maximizer into a phat bass machine if you fully boost the low section, set the split to 466hz, and keep the high section at the middle.

Hi,
I just uploaded a new version. Changes so far:
- completely rewrote the routing engine
- optimized code for every mode (not extremely optimized, but far better now)
- mono plugins can now be used to create a stereo plugin
- more opcodes are translated and send to the hosted plugins
- added some presets
- several bugs fixed
http://www.savioursofsoul.de/Christian/ ... reator.zip
Christian
PS: SynthEdit and SynthMaker plugins still don't work, but some others work now. Supported hosts also depend on the wrapped plugins.

You can create a 4 band by splitting an already splitted pluginpoonna wrote:Do you consider making a 3-band or 4-band version, btw?
Beside I did not plan to create a 3 or 4 band version.

the new version is not working for me at all now in FL8. I'll try in Sonar.
edit - doesn't load in FL, just dissapears as if you didn't select one at all.
In Sonar it's not loading the gui from the wrapped plugin.

It's probably because I'm now translating more opcodes from the host to the hosted plugins :-/Audio~Geek wrote:edit - doesn't load in FL, just dissapears as if you didn't select one at all.

I'm very excited about being able to use two different plug-ins... When do you think that might be available??? Thanks.

If I got enough donations probably. Right now I have earned 20$. I guess I'll wait until I received 100$ or something around this probably. It gives me several headaches, because this will make some things really difficult (different UI sizes, different behaviour, different Input/Output count and several things more)...wesleymayhem wrote:I'm very excited about being able to use two different plug-ins... Sounds perfectly reasonable. Thanks for the cool device!Christian Budde wrote:If I got enough donations probably. Right now I have earned 20$. It's nice to see somebody dwelling with these ideas, although not new, someone is finally doing something.
Anyhow, perhaps more people will now warm up to the idea of merged plugins, aka virtual racks. I've been trying to get people/developers warmed up to this kind of idea for quite a long time already, although my vision has been a bit more ambitious (internal VST parameter modulators like LFO's, Envelopes, step sequencers, sample triggers etc).
Now imagine all this stuff with multiple VSTi synths/samplers + VST effects, all internally possible to be modulated by LFO, envelopes etc. This would also provide fast preset loading and an excellent opportunity for 3rd party professional patch programmers to create amazing "effect rack banks" for the masses.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Please contact me if you are a developer and interested in these ideas. I've got it all laid down on paper with schematics and all (crappy windows paint ones
) with explanations. I've also considered the legal problems that embedded plugins cause. There are several ways around this that should satisfy most developers and should discourage any abuse of the system.
Cheers!

Also my personal pipedream - ie, a slightly simpler, yet more powerful, Korebmanic wrote:although my vision has been a bit more ambitious (internal VST parameter modulators like LFO's, Envelopes, step sequencers, sample triggers etc).

It's probably really a bit ambitious, since with the current VST architecture this would mean to process the hosted VST plugins sample by sample (to have an accurate automation). Depending on the plugin hosted, this might lead to a huge overhead. The mda plugins for example create a copy of the initial states before entering a more effective loop for each sample. After that the states are stored back. While this is a good strategy for blocks, it is probably a lot overhead sample based processing. Also some plugins might fail with this strategy entirely, since they rely on SSE code (using 4 samples at one time). It might work, but increase the CPU consumption by a factor of 4.bmanic wrote:Anyhow, perhaps more people will now warm up to the idea of merged plugins, aka virtual racks. Still, with all these issues I think it is doable, but at least not for me. You also have to face several compatibility problems, since you do not only have to ensure the created plugins work in every host, but also to work with every plugin. I mean basically it's possible this way to help plugins, which might not work in one host, that they do after the treatment, but it is more likely the opposite happening.
Just some thoughts about this. Anyway I hope that this opens the world a little bit towards your idea. I would be glad to see something like this in the future...
Kind regards,
Christian

I've got quite a few multiband plugins now, haven't tested them in a full mix at all.
Work well in Reaper, they can be a little touchy but that's how Vista goes. They are listed as pluginmerge or whatever, a bunch of the same name.

The old version had the flaw of generating only a single Unique-ID rather then generating a new one based on the unique ID of the plugin splitted...RunBeerRun wrote:I've got quite a few multiband plugins now, haven't tested them in a full mix at all.
