FR: Shift key fine control of Modulator Lane

I'm using one of the Modulator Lanes to modify the samplerate of the Crush effect, I'm finding it very tricky to get the detail - Shift works with everything else for finer control but not the actual Modulator Lane itself.
Can the use of Shift be added here in a future update?
