Omnisphere will be launched in a few days. Do you guys at Muse intend to DirectInstall support it ?

Considering the minimum hardware requirement to run Omnisphere, I wonder if this will run OK on the Receptor.
From the website:
Requirements:
• Pentium 3.0 GHz or higher (Intel Core2Duo recommended)
• VST 2.4 or RTAS capable host software
Besides the processor issue, I believe we're still on VST 2.3.

Hey there,
Still wondering what's up with Omnisphere and Receptor compatibility.
Any info would be welcome.

Farhan has looked at it, and it appears there is some kind of graphics issue when launching the editor.Chrisart wrote:Hey there,

We're going to try several more things; thanks in advance for your patience.

Any new news on getting Omnisphere on Receptor? Has anyone done it? I haven't tried yet but I really want to get the Omnisphere up and running on the Receptor as soon as possible. It has such a huge load size, I didn't want to start unless it really works on Receptor.
Can it be installed on Receptor without a "prep installer"? I have the Receptor Pro.
thanks

Good news / bad news. Looks like Omnisphere will require some additional work and will require at least the upcoming 1.8 version to work...jrmcewen wrote:Any new news on getting Omnisphere on Receptor? Has anyone done it? Please realize that with Atmosphere being end-of-lifed we understand the urgency for supporting Omnisphere and we will release an appropriate installation methodology as soon as we can (most likely through Direct Install).

Feel free to talk about 1.8 features.
NAAM is around the corner and I expect 2.0 will be demo'd.
