Spectrasonics has announced this upgrade for Atmosphere users.
Atmosphere is, hands down, the most versatile and most stable instrument on my Receptor.
Will I be able to install/upgrade to Omnisphere with Direct Install?
I'd love to hear from someone at Muse.

Dunno that I'll be buying Omnisphere immediately, but if people are still raving about it in a month or so, AND if it works on Receptor, I'll be sorely tempted...

I don't expect it to work on Receptor (yet) but I have four other computers it will be installed on. And as I already owned the Power Trio (Atmos/Tri/RMX), it was $149! Eric's multiple install policy is the best in the industry, and the multiple arpeggiator with Chaos means live ever-changing backing tracks forever...
o I hope it gets Receptorized REAL soon!!!

what exactly does this multiple install policy entail? If I buy omnisphere, will I be allowed to install it on e.g. my macpro, my macbook and (in the future) my receptor?thesoundsmith wrote: Eric's multiple install policy is the best in the industry, and the multiple arpeggiator with Chaos means live ever-changing backing tracks forever...

JayVee, that is true, but not what I was talking about. I have all three products so I got a great discount, but the Spectra policy is unlimited installs on machines you personally own (and only you can legally use the app, can't rent it out as part of your studio perks.)
I have Atmosphere on 5 machines currently, Trilogy on 3, RMX on 6. No problem other than telling them why (dropdown menu box) when you re-authorize. I would put Omni on more machines, but I don't need to (and it takes half a day to install, it has to decompress 6 DVDs...)
