Hello - just saw the mention in EM this month an a lightbulb went on.
I have a need to visualize all the Midi contortions possible in my Nord Modular G2 and this looks like it could help however...
Reading quickly through the manual I can't tell if the knobs/sliders etc. are callback enabled so I can see the midi output/state of the G2? Yes the graphing is cool, but I'd like to see a pallet of controls change (sort of a graphical motormix or other automated control surface). Does that happen?
cheers
Carl

Glad to see our products give you ideas
.
The Remote Control plugin supports MIDI CC messages both as input and output. So if you connect the MIDI output of your Nord Modular to your PC and configure the plugin to receive MIDI information (in the preset settings, enable the inputs you need for each control), the controls will reflect the changes made on you synth.
You can display these changes as sliders, knobs, graphs or meters. If you also want to use this virtual control surface to control your synth, you will need to configure the MIDI output of the plugin as well. Depending on the MIDI delay in your system, it might not work very well though (because you will be creating a loop Synth->plugin-Synth).
I suggest you to download and install the demo and have fun with it to see if it fits your needs.

Excellent - yes actually I want to "sniff" the Midi output going from the Nord to other synths - and it would be great to visualize that, so no loop back worries. Great - I'll try the demo indeed.
thanks again
