I checked it out this morning. Chorus issue seems to be gone now. I think it's kinda weird that you play notes, CPU usage is like 3-4%, then you release it jumps up to 7-8%, and of course when it fades out, the CPU goes down to 0-1%. That's with the chorus now the way it is in Beta 18. I need to compare with other modulation effects. I'm doing 2 other betas, and just trying to keep up with them all!

Devon, Envelope RELEASE takes more CPU usage than Envelope SUSTAIN. That's why the CPU raises a bit when you release the keys, that's normal behaviour for this VSTi. The Envelope Release is NOT Linear, that's why it takes more CPU usage. You will also notice that on Envelope ATTACK.
After the Envelope is DONE it puts the voices to IDLE, so CPU usage drops to almost zero.

Wow, looks like the beta is coming to an end here soon then 'eh William? Hope I shook out most of the bugs.
Haven't found anything more wrong yet... I'll keep trying though.

Thanxs guys, yes, the Beta is to an end.
We will be doing presets and manual now, and we present to you the final work before release.
Release date is to 14th November, no rain-checks.
Regards, Wk

Well, actually, not a bad idea, you guys could all help us out on checking typos on the manual.

I still get some noise on upper registers...it's semi-tolerable...but even the "pure sine" waveform has a slight tick as it loops from about middle C on up that I have to adjust settings to deal with...Otherwise she's fantastic and I like the new sounds...On the noise I may just be overly picky, but I just want to know if anyone else hears it...I'll fiddle with her some more after work tonight...

I'm sure I've written quite the manuscript with all my posts on here.YBaCuO wrote:WK- Take DevonB up on his offer! - And judging by the all his posts here, you should get one FAT manual ...![]()

happy to check the manual also....
hahaha perhaps a copy of these 17-18 beta pages should go in the back... like outtakes for a movie... just so the customers get a peek at the process and quality!

Ford just tested your finding here and don't seem to have any problems with the upper reg's on sine wav's...
sound just very pure and clean to me.... [of course I was using power tools on wood today so maybe my ears aren't clear yet... LOL] but really it sounds clean here.... thinking you might play with the asio latency of your card and see if that changes things?????

I went and tried various latency settings, but that doesn't make it go away...If you're just selecting her from the new default init you won't here it...Go to a blank preset and load only pure sine and turn it up(use headphones if need be)...In presets later it won't be a problem, but for people who want to quickly select and use that straight sound with no adjustments it could be frustrating...The only option then that I could think of is making a new straight preset that already has the adjustments to hide the noise...but for now I definitely still hear it...and couldn't use the sounds that exhibit this behavior straight up...max wrote:Ford just tested your finding here and don't seem to have any problems with the upper reg's on sine wav's...
