Oh, and you think I need reminding of that?Squids wrote:Some more hints... first of all, don't think you know everything.
I still think SampleTank 3 is the most logical, but from Squids post... I don't know. What about Amplitude 3 with some of the emulations developed for Jimmie and Metal? That would be a possibility.

It's going to be the THIRD at2 version! First, JHE, then METAL, now the MARK Tremonti edition!
Complete with recessed hairline and quotes from scripture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I read "heard on countless records" I was going to answer Michael McDonald.
But since there's a free product at stake, I'll answer Sampletank 3.
This would be my wish as well.

While the "countless records" would have led me to believe T-Racks, I am not going to guess it.
Instead, I will say Amplitube 3 or Sample Tank 3 are the only logical alternatives... but then I will prepare to be totally wrong.

SampleTank 3 me thinks/guesses, more guesses then thinks.
Whatever it is, bring it on, I love it all.

SampleTank 3 I think...
Amplitube 3 would be too soon, wouldn't it?

after Squids Words...
I think that it's going to be T-racks.
It's the "oldest" plug on IK catalog, and the are probably going to skip release 2, giving it a really Major Update...
the sound in th etrailer have probably nothing to do with the plug, they are only processed with it...
well..confused

I'd guess it will be both Sampletank and Sonik Synth. They pretty much go together. Sampletank 3 is overdue, so if it's just one, it's going to be that IMO. It's not going to be T-RackS.
Here's to a cool GB for it though, whatever it is.

This one was easy, it's T-racks of course.
Pioneered the field: T-racks.
Version 3 of 3: Equalizer, Tube Comp and Multiband Limiter.
I'm quite happy with the current version (we use it on almost everything) but of course I am very interested in the new version.

Well as I said it's always possible IK can't count and it will skip a version - been done before.K-Slash wrote:Damn you're rightaMUSEd wrote:OK but it says 1.3 is the current version in its KVR page.K-Slash wrote:T-RackS is at version 2 at the moment (it's not named T-RackS 2, but has a 2.X version number in the about box), and is the oldest of all, and the most awaited "major update" of all for many people, so I vote for it, and I'm pretty sure it's itaMUSEd wrote:Yes but T-Racks, Philharmonic and CSR were only on v1 anyway I think so that leaves Sonic Synth, Sampletank and Amplitude. Amplitude has only recently been updated to v2, Sonic Synth by it's nature follows behind Sampletank so therefore by a process of elimination I vote Sampletank
(Unless IKM can't count that is)
!
I remember back to last year AES show in october 2007, when a product manager told me "yes the new T-RackS version is going to be announced next year for sure".
So...
.
I thought I read it somewhere, well, so I don't know.
