I don't see how that second part is relevant. But, anyway, to balance that there are hundreds of thousands of other people that have found it useful in their workflow and I happen to be one of them.

We really don't want to provide a forum for bashing Sonic Reality's partners though so please just stay on topic guys. What you think the version 3 is. Plenty of other places on KVR to bash plug-ins if that's what you want to do but we ask that you don't do that in our company forum specifically is all. Thanks.

:?:

You're kidding right ?

What did I said to bash this product ?

I said that In MY view, I PERSONALLY don't really like it, as when I tested it, I thought it will be useless for me considering what I already have.

I did not said that this was a crappy software, or bad sounding or whatever.

That's cool if lot of people like it, but that's not for me, so I'll prefer to see T-RackS 3, that's it.

I'm just saying it, not bashing it .

Voted for T-RackS 3, although it would be nice to see Sampletank updated also.

I hope they were smart enough to combine ST and SS into one app, or at least enable 100% file sharing in both. Since the pricecuts for SS2 seemed more available and larger than those for other IK items, that is my guess, and that the big new features will be loading of a few more very important filetypes, much deeper Amplitube integration in the gui, and a streaming engine for gigandosoundz :)

Omnisphere ?

SonicSphere 3

All will be released with a custom CamelTank skin, with adjustable morphing humps!
 :hihi: :)

T-SonikSlaVerbTankTube

But I'll settle for an updated T-Racks with 3x as many models to choose from. :)

I wonder if we'll all be surprised?

watch the new product actually named "IK product version 3". It is a stereo enhancer.

that would piss off a LOT of customers....:hihi:

It's not really a question of 'smart.' Sonik Synth 2 is a concept instrument that is an emulation of the 'closed architecture' hardware synths of yore. The 'fun' of the instrument is to have a dedicated wave set (samples) from which all the patches are derived. Creating patches in an instrument like this is similar to artists painting vastly different pieces using the same exact set of paints.

The 'twist' with SS2, of course, was that it has over 7 gigs of waves to work with. Back in the day, 16 mg (you read that right) of on board sample data was considered enormous, almost to the point of being unwieldy.

Giving SS2 import functions would make it just another Sampletank. Why have 2? On the other hand, I suppose the nuance of a closed architecture synth is a dated idea that only us geezers of a certain age can really appreciate. :hihi:

So many plugins, so little time...

I voted for SampleTank 3. Although, I'm leaving some room for a trick question. Several things could be updated at once. This would be a good time for SampleTank 3 to appear on the scene to give the slough of other new synths and synth updates some competition. Go, IK Multimedia! :hihi:

Edit: Typo

I choose Sonic Synth 3 because I saw it in a dream.

I had to pick TRacks. Its a great plug, but its been a while since its seen any major changes.

OK, I'll bite. Voted for SampleTank 3. Why? Why not?
