Oatmeal skins, patches and presets

sorry to be a pain, but i have a request...

not a great fan of the synth with original skin, but would consider having a look at it if it had one that i liked and found more usable...so...could some kind soul put up grabs of the GUI's for me?

if someone could provide a patch of unison in use and explain to me the relationship of the new things to the old i'll patch my skins for 38-1.

from what i see it's just another filter and it's hanging out in my skin right in between the mix and osc2 sections.

Supposedly, all the unison does is 'add' multi-voices to OSC 1 and OSC 2. It's polyphonic, and can jack up the CPU load quite a bit. It doesn't work well with Sync or FM, however, since OSC 2 is used for modulation of the first OSC.

i have been messing and i cant hear it make a difference. i have tried clone mode and nothing sounds "unisony" - i cannot locate a unison pan or detune either to maybe enhance the unison sound.

lucky for me the filter has room under it. so all i need to do is move that filter there and add a clone option? seems easy enough.

so i just had a look and the graphics are already in place.

Did you try changing the voice variable? Also, hardsync and fm modes don't work well with unison. (Hacky, as he says, on his part I guess)

i'm thinking i could do it if i make the knobs small like the arp tune ones. i could put it up near osc1 and osc2.

grymmjack, thanks for this update, been anticipating on this. Your skins are the best. Soft and silky... and smooth. It puts the lotion on the skin or else it gets the hose.

man is there anyway to snap the tuning knobs to steps that are reasonable? like semitones? 12.10 is the finest i can get to 12....
