I don't know why anyone would be disappointed if it turned out to be any of them. Any of those products with a new version would be an exciting thing. But, this one is a really cool new product that has features you'd want to have in the studio. Period. If you don't want to have them in the studio then... you're not like a lot of other people who would! Like me. I know that some of the things in this product are totally useful to me in my music making... and more affordable here than say in anything else and more authentic sounding. So... you guys will find out tomorrow. I don't think anyone in their right mind would be disappointed by it. It's a much needed update IMO. But... we shall see.

Well, maybe yes and maybe no but it just so happens that YES I would love to own a real Fairchild. But that's not the only piece of gear I'd like to own that is a little "out of reach" for most people's budget. Although at $30K it is one of the most out of reach pieces one can think of. I happen to have something like a Fairchild though in my studio. Didn't cost as much but does a similar tube compression. Ahhhhh. Actually, I wonder if there will be an assortment of cool emu's for to custom fit out "studio" liking.
My fear now is that it will be really cool and will take FOREVER to be released!

(although judging by the last lot of Amplitude adverts some of the hardware is a little too hard and synthetic for my liking)

Ok I got it! It's Sampletank 3 but with updated FX which can be used within sampletank or the as plugin directly in the your Daw! This gives you little of all three or Sampletank 3 is now a USB powered hardware device with a built in sequencer and missle defense system.

I hope to god it's sampletank 3 but i doubt it is, it'll probably be one of those damn equalizers or compressors, that'd be great if there wasn't 15,000,000,000 of them already.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if it was an upgraded T-Racks...Its not like this will be the only IK product upgraded ever again.. The rest will follow I'm sure..
