Do you know if with the new SCC technology they are going to model new hardwares like tape machines, preamps, and so on, to create new plugins and sell them as expansion for T-RackS 3 ?

For example :

T-RackS 3 - Vintage Saturators Collection
T-RackS 3 - Vintage Equalizers Collection
T-RackS 3 - Vintage Compressors Collection

That would be AWESOME !

That would be cool on the tape saturation. I don't know. I would imagine at least more compressor and eq models are a possibility though. API, Neve and maybe some esoteric stuff too... could be nice! The platform sure looks more like the X-Gear model to ME. But, remember, I am more privy to the SampleTank world than this. I sort of poke my head to find out things but it's all done over in Italy and I just get bits and pieces... not to mention there are things I can say and things I can't. However, I can tell you that I don't know of anything at the moment other than that I've known about TR3 for a little while and have been biting my tongue (not to mention I've been anticipating it to use on my own music which I am starting to do now with the beta or alpha I guess and so far so good! No crashes).

Concerning this whole crossgrade business.. It means in fact that you only have to pay full price for an IK product ONCE.... after that you always get a discount..

Add up the full separate cost of every IK product you own and then deduct how much you have actually spent, There's your total discount right there...
