we're double checking that everything downloads correctly (you don't want to dow
nload an 8GB file twice because of a corrupted download isn't?) before putting it online.

After reading about this for a while I thought I'd give it a try, seems like a very interesting product. One quick question though; on the website it says the demo soundfile is "415 mo" (I'm assuming that means 415 Megabytes and you're just for some reason used the abbreviation of the French for Megabyte; Mega Octet?) but the download is showing as 325.66MB. Is the "415 mo" the decompressed size of the file?

Exactly.
415Mo is the decompressed size.

it should be a capital M indeed on the website, Octet is not french only though afaik

I think it was the case only in the old demo of each product not available anymore. (The ones bundled with the now deprecated UviPlayer)

For sure this is not the case in the Soundpack demo that you can download on
uvisoundsource.
I've just checked and the two available organ are mapped on the whole range (less sample than the full version though)

It's not French only but it is most commonly used in France, French Canada and Romania (which is also what the link you gave says!). I have seen it used before on technical websites (for the reason stated on the Wiki page: where the term byte might be ambiguous) but I'm not aware of it being often used at a consumer level on websites written in English.

I'm using FL Studio 8 and Plugsound Pro in UVI Workstation 1.0.10.
When I put an effect on the master channel in UVI workstation, FL Studio freezes and I have to close it with the Task-Manager.

Does it happen with any kind of FX ? (IR Reverb, EQ, ...)

It seems that there are other guys in this thread using FL8, do you guys are encountering the same issue ?

It happens with all Mastereffects. I put an effect on the master and then the sound is muted. If I try to delete the effect, FL Studio freezes. I have to close FL Studio with the Task Manager. It's very strange... :o

Putting an effect on a single Instrument is no problem. It just happens only with the Plugsound PRO effects, not the FL Studio effects.

Indeed I've found a problem, but it should only happen on multi band FXs.
(the ones in 3 Bands processors)

Can you confirm it doesn't happen with other FX type ?

Hi,

I tried going through support channels, but have not heard back so I wanted to try here.

I bought the s30 bass grooves add on and am having issues with clicking regardless of tempo playback on many grooves.

I think the new UVIworkstation is great. I have the Synths Anthology sound pack.

However I really think the player should had a 'link' function for each layer - so that the raw soundwaves can be used properly. Ive been getting some pretty good sounds from the raw waves - but editing it is a real bummer - as if I want to adjust the filter and filter env - I have to carefully traverse between the layers making sure the values are the same - this is a real bummer...

Im not sure why this isnt a feature when it was present in the last players and the Spectrasonics players...?
