Well, anyway, it's a beautiful synth.

Sorry, don't get the point of a perspective view of the GUI. Some other developpers also followed that path and IMO it only helps to screw up how readable the GUI is. On the other side, fortunatelly Kjaerhus dropped the older "perspetive view" versions of the classic plugins a long ago.r2dj wrote:... also the [url=http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2030.html] naive LPF has a really nice slightly animated gui. For how much a VCS3 goes for these days, you're sinking the whole fleet!duncanparsons wrote:You sunk my battleshiphollowsun wrote:
I was actually going to post a picture of Daedalus earlier in this thread, but couldn't find a screenshot because all of the nbeat links were dead. Too bad, good dev with promising stuff.Ja.x wrote:Talking about sexy GUIs (and skins), does anybody know what hapenned to nBeat? Monolisa and Daedalus are still in the database but every single link seems to be deadI think I have some skins in my other computer (Triangle I and II, Pentagon I) but no trace of it on the internet. IMO he made some of the best GUIS ever.
Seems fair enough. It's GUI was the only thing that really set it apart. I don't remember being particularly impressed by the features or sound.Download SOphist wrote:funny thing is the thing i remember the most (probably unfairly) of daedalus is it's GUI.
Just absolutley beautiful. Perfectly funtional, not a drab old/reschooled interpretation of '70's hardware, the controls are flawless. My fav of the favs, as far as GUIs go. I doint own it, nor have used it, so I cant compliment on usage, though I do have Bittersweet II, and even though its limited on usage, its beautiful too.hibidy wrote:
sorry, but I just think this (and all the others too) look soooooo goooood..........
