just a small question here...
are the red lights for each drum pad on the original skin meant to flash when it receives midi, like in the other skin?

yes there is one skin which misses the code to light up the pads,
here ios the replacemet file to fix that,
http://nusofting.com/BDM/file for Branis skin BDM.zip
it must go into the skin folder at /NUSofting Data dir
