New downtempo, quite a bit of Zebra in this one:

Sweet. This has some great sounds.

But the music just glides past. I could use one or two riffs with more individuality.

Victor.

Like it alot. Is that guitar Zebra, or real?
Sounds great though.

Guitar is real, my Ibanez S540.

I listened to it. It sounded good to me, except for the annoying side-stick part (or whatever the instrument was). Besides being distracting, it didn't even sound like it was in the same "space" as the rest of the music. It sounded like you left a click-track running.

However, I thought "maybe I am missing something here." So, I went to your site and listened to some more of your music. I really liked it. And it's obvious that you are a good musician and producer.

So, what am I missing? Is that irritating (to me) click-hit in Filaments there to contrast the lush harmony and mixing of the rest of the music? Is it designed to upset people like me?

Who are people like me?

Anyway, I like your music, and I respect your chops. Please tell me why Filaments has that part.

Thanks!

LOL, well I'm not sure why it's in there other than I like the way it sounds :) Sorry 'people like you' don't like it though, maybe I'll do an "Other People" remix with it quieter :)

Decided to drop the side stick level some, new version uploaded already.

Thanks, Tarekith. I enjoyed it much more with that edit. I can take in the whole piece now.

(I hope all readers understand my original criticism was a bit tongue-in-cheek. I didn't mean any ill-will or disrespect.)

No worries, I'd been debating how much I wanted I wanted the snare sound upfront myself, and you weren't the only one to comment on that :)
