Can't get Zebra going in Cubase

Guys,
We are trying to get Zebra2 demo going in Cubase SE1.06, and no luck. It appears in the list of available VSTIs in the plugin information dialogue but it is overlaid in yellow. It cannot be seen at all when trying to load VSTIs in the main programme. In Cubase this yellow highlight is apparently usually applied to FX...doesn't make sense. Several othr VSTIs are in the same location and hey are visible and they work, so we do not think it can be a folder problem, unless you know better.
We tried the Cubase forum and they don't seem to have any answers.
Does anyone here know? We are just itching to get playing with the synth.
Thanks ahead if you can help.
Regards
Adrian

Thats a rather old sequencer, might have something to do with it?

Hmmm, what operating system are you on? Are you using the latest version from Zebrasynth.com?

We are using XP fully updated.
Yes we too have wondered if the age of the sequencer has anything to do with it, but so far we have nothing on that. Also other modern synths work fine.
We are using the latest demo version of Zebra.
The thing is there are a couple of othr synths that also are yellowed out and which won't play.

Does that version of Cubase have a plugin blacklist file? Maybe an older version of Zebra was installed once which possibly indeed didn't run, hence it's in the blacklist file...? What if you delete that?
Oh... your cpu must understand at least SSE1 to run Zebra...

I have heard of these blacklists but I do not know anything about them. If Se 1.06 has a blacklist where is it held usually?
