Hi there,
This is my very first post on this forum and I'm new with receptor.
I need to set up my receptor for live performance.
I will need to play multis in a kind of sequence when I play my songs.
I have few questions:
- Is it possible to load the patched all at one time during the start up of the receptor?
- What's the meaning of the Snapshot bank?
Thanks in advance
Andrea

Using snapshot feature means you can load all of your plugs up for your set, save it as a master patch and from there, mute the ones you don't need for one song, saving that as a patch in the snapshot bank, and then doing the same for all your other songs, again muting the ones you don't need. This allows you to load up and keep your CPU resources down instead of having all your plugs active. It's instant switching as you have everything loaded up. Obviously if you are using large sample libraries you are restricted by your memory, but you can max out the CPU, and then tame it down with your individual patch selections.

Thank you.
I've created my multi from scratch and save the patch on a new bank.
Is it possible to save the patch inside the snapshot folder?
My receptor has the IK Snapshot.

Yes, create a snapshot bank in your multi mode. Then load all your channels up with what ever plugs you need, save that as a master patch inside the snapshot bank, (which you will initially load up at your gig). Then mute the channels you don't need for each song and then save it as a multi patch inside of the snapshot bank. So after you load up your master patch at your gig you just flick down to your song patches which will have the other plugs you don't need muted thus saving your CPU.
There is a downside in that its problematic choosing patches within one of your plugs in this way. More experienced users may have a way of sending program change messages to the channel you need to change, say Minimonsta. Because I don't use it this way I can't comment on that side.
If your a one patch per plug man like me then you don't need to delve into it.
Hope this helps.
