ok, i know that the vst-file called sylenth1 vsti lets me create a sound from scratch it seems like...but, what if i want to use the vst-file called sylenth1, and use it to import an fxp-preset from the sylenth1 VSTi? i put the fxp file from the sylenth1 VSTi into the directory where the factory banks are but it doesnt load. what is the purpose of the sylenth VSTi versus the other vst file that lets me use the factory banks?

and i love sylenth1 btw.

You need a host program to load sylenth1, and from there you need to load the fxb files.

VSTi means VST instrument plug-in. You need a VST compatible host to load Sylenth1. Fxp files are preset files. You can load them into Sylenth1 by using the "Load Preset" option from the MENU on Sylenth1's LCD screen.
