I was doing a little patch programming today. I went to save one and Zebra won't let me enter the letter "R" caps or not. R works with Synth 1 in the same host (Sonar 7 PE). Weird, no big deal just won't name any presets with R. Anybody else notice this or is it just the Gremlins at work again? :hihi:

Sonar is eating the R, don't you think?

Click that little keyboard icon in the upper-right of the host window -- that's the Give All Keystrokes to Plugin button. See what happens now.

Doh! :dog: That was it, wonder why Sonar didn't eat the R for Synth 1? Oh well thanks a lot for the lesson. :D

it probably wasnt hungry any more.

It's a struggle... Zebra is already quite greedy for key strokes (as can be seen by numerous requests to un-tighten it) while at the same time some hosts still manage to block things.

I think there is no perfect answer to this problem. I might at some point add options, but for now we have to copy-paste Rs in Sonar.

Perhaps it only eats Zebra R's.

I think this was more of a case of me not being familiar with Sonar 7 enough yet.

This happens to me alot!

I wish I could configure Sonar to default to this setting, but right now is not the best time to post new feature requests over on the Sonar forum -- they've got their hands full, to say the least!

You can tell SONAR to not eat keys and send all of them to plugins (it's the keyboard icon on top right of the plugin), but even in this mode it still eats some keys, like tab for example.
