Ok, I'm completely lost on this one. I load a sequence in MULAB 2(say the demo song) that plays perfectly in the composition screen, but when I mixdown, the audio file is completely silent, and when I try to quick record using the transport panel, I get an error window that says "Recording too silent (-59.3 dB)"
I'm using ASIO4ALL v2, my audio device is a Sigmatel (mac mini, running windows through bootcamp).

Why not run the MacIntel version directly?
Make sure you've go no parts selected before you do the mix down.
MULAB has a threshold for recording (-48dB? I think it can be adjusted). The "-59.3dB" sounds like you need to raise your external signal level, though. What are you trying to record (using what hardware)?

Not that I want to adjust the threshold. The signal appears to be quite loud enough in the master rack, and I can hear the song play in the composer, but it seems I just can't record it. All I'm trying to do is record anything to a wav file. On a side note, I did notice that while MULAB was running, sound wouldn't be audible from any other apps (or at least from ie). Maybe this is a ASIO4ALL problem? Not sure. Music creation is a recent hobby of mine, so I don't know much.

The threshold and related message are to do with recording new parts, not mixing down, I think. If you're not trying to record an external signal then the quoted level is a lot noise! (And you're not doing mixdown right.) You'll need to clarify what you're doing.
Unless explicitly supported, you should never try using the same device in two applications at once. When you play sound in Windows, it generally goes to the Windows Mixer, which does allow multiple connections, and then - in a single connection - to your sound card. ASIO4ALL bypasses the Windows Mixer, so you shouldn't run anything else that uses it.

Also good to know. I went back to a test mixdown that had been supposedly silent, only this time I closed MULAB before playing the wav.
