Hi Lennard,
Thanks for implementing the knob pickup mode in the 2.2 version! Unfortunately, knob-pickup doesn't work anymore after switching presets. I'm using Ableton Live 7. How to reproduce:
- Assign hardware controller to f.i. Cutoff
- Turn the hardware knob. Sylenth1 only responds when the current value has been reached. Knob pickup!
- Change preset
- Now move the knob again. Sylenth switches immediately to the current value of the hardware knob, as in the previous version!
Could you please look into this?
Regards

That's not a bug, it's implemented like this on purpose. Let's say you created a track where one knob is controlled via midi cc values. You made some kind of gating effect with it, so the midi value jumps from 0 to 127 and back.
When you load this track the synth receives a program change, but you want it to follow the steep direct jumps from 0 to 127 that were recorded in your track.
There's simply no way to combine that with a midi cc value pickup. If value pickup would be active, it would not follow the value jumps in your track.
*EDIT* Actually a better example is where the knob position is at 100% after the program change and the recorded midi CC is between 0 and 50% of its value. The knob is then never picked up because the midi value never comes close to 100%, so the song will not play back correctly.

Ok, I already thought that was the case. I use Sylenth on stage however, so there are no recorded valuejumps then. But I do switch presets, and tweak the cutoff knob a lot...
Is it possible to implement this (pure knob pickup) as an optional setting? It would make Sylenth1 a lot more powerful to me!
