Absolute class. The FM sounds have a clarity and depth that set them apart from even dedicated EP programs. The delay and reverb have a mystical quality! I dont care how simple a patch is if your ears tell you its class then Its class.

By the way in Dublin class means great or in a class of its own.

I agree. I thought the DX was dead (and FM synthesis). But these FM operators sound warm and fresh. I dig the DX+pad preset. I predict we'll be hearing these in acid jazz and pop stuff again.

I wonder where my old Swatch watch is...

Yeah it's great. I wanted to be sure though because + is used to denote patches that use the performance squares but I don't think so far there is an EP like DX ADD that does that.

out of curiosity - where is that preset? I have old school ver 1&2 and Science and don't see it...

It's in the factory presets...

"4 Pianoids" -> "HS DY 7 Add Pad"
