Put me down for the group buy also upon the AU release. Although if it doesn't happen I won't be disappointed. You deserve every penny you're asking for!

Yeah, compare electronic downloads to retail that sells actual physical objects. That makes a lot of sense.yairhol wrote:From the customers' perspective it is a very beneficial move.
It is also very beneficial for the developer in the long run. Otherwise no business would have special sale times. And actually almost all businesses have sales at holidays and/or other times.

Well , it's well worth the money , but if there is any benefit to the dev to have a group buy where he gets more orders and all that then I am well into it !
Cheers .

Damn! I couldn't hold out. I just had to buy. I am not disapointed. It is so easy to use. If there was ever a soft synth that could stand up to hardware in terms of sound it would be this.

A group buy would still be a good idea. With the way the UK Pound has gone against the Dollar and the Euro I certainly can't afford to buy Sylenth without some sort of discount right now. Given the current world financial concerns I'm sure I'm not the only one who is a bit hesitant - a group buy might be the difference between sale or no-sale for a few people these days.
Also, does anyone know why, when I select UK for my country to purchase in, that it charges 19% VAT instead of the 17.5% VAT rate the UK uses? It's probably just an EU thing, but I'd never noticed it before. Then again, I'm probably watching money more than ever before.
Cheers,

Even though I started this thread in what seems like an age ago now.. I must admit that I caved in too and have already bought Sylenth.... Albeit second hand.. But yeah it's an awesome synth!
I hope you guys get the Group buy... It would be great to have even more 'SYLENTHIERS' out there to share with!
Good luck!

The EU rules for this mean that the VAT rate in force in the seller's country is what you pay, not the rate applicable to the buyer's country. The Dutch rate is 19%. Just be glad Lennard doesn't live in Sweden - we'd all be paying 25% then.mkelly wrote:Also, does anyone know why, when I select UK for my country to purchase in, that it charges 19% VAT instead of the 17.5% VAT rate the UK uses?
