Hi guys,
I'm preparing my live setup sounds.
The first sound will be moog sound.
The second sound will be a split with moog sound and sonik synth sound.
I want to switch seamlessly between sound 1 and sound 2.
How can I do that?
When I think to create a snapshot on CH1 I have sound 1 but than how can I switch to sound 2 within the same snapshot?
I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance
Andrea

Hi,
You can't switch sounds seamlessly within the same plugin in the same snapshot.
But, if Moog and Sonik Synth are the only plugins you need in your snapshot, then I suggest you just instantiate the same plugin twice, and have them play on the same midi channel (you have enough empty slots for that...). You can create two snapshots, muting the unnecessary plugin. Using this method, the change between sounds will be seamless.

As stated above, if you are using two different programs from the same Plug, instantiate that Plug in two separate Receptor mixer channels (with the desired Plug program selected). The process is the same as with two separate Plugs. For Example, in Receptor mixer channel 1 you have Moog, and on Receptor channel 2 you have Sonik (the mixer channels should both be set to receive on midi channel 1), you will now hear both Plugs layered over the entire keyboard (if transmitting on midi channel 1). To hear just the Moog bypass Receptor channel 2 (leaving Receptor channel 1 active), now save this (Receptor) program (Snapshot Multi) as program one. To hear just Sonik, activate channel 2 and bypass channel 1 on the Receptor mixer - now save that (Receptor mixer setting) as Receptor (same Snapshot Multi) program two. You can have up to 128 different variations (programs) per Snapshot Multi. This allows you go between just Moog, just Sonik, or a layer of the two with a simple program change from your keyboard. You could also do splits. It might be helpful to reread the Snapshot stuff in the manual. I have a Snapshot that allows me to go from an Ivory piano, to Scarbee Rhodes (with a few variations) to B4II, and Pro 53 all seamlessly with a single button push from my Yamaha S90es. I hope this helps rather than confuses. Good luck -

Many thanks.
It works!
Just one little issue I got. I wanted to assign on CH3 a combination taken by editing the Sample tank but during the loading of the patch the receptor reboots by itself and it brings me back to the mix page.
Is it a kind of conflict between midi channels?
