I'm on a u-he roll - I've made a preliminary KORE template for MFM2 now as well.

This might need some fine tuning but I've added to this an Unholy Knob of Doom as described here - where it might need some tweaking is in finding the sweet spots as I've added all 4 delay lines to it. It gets a result though :)

Thanks, Stephen :)

I was going to do one for MFM; you just saved me some work. And, the UKOD approach would definitely be cool with MFM.

Yeah that's what I thought - wasn't really practical for Zebra and I wanted to try it with something. It's probably a bit extreme though at the moment as I sort of bunged everything into it to see what happened - you could help me fine tune it if you want.

I ran into a really weird issue, Stephen. I put it in my user sounds in my MFM2 subfolder, and Kore didn't recognize it. I had to open the .ksd from Windows instead of Kore and then resave it to get it to appear in my browser.

Strange - it opens from the browser for me. Had you updated MFM2 to the new beta URs just uploaded in the meantime perhaps?

I tried the first time before the new beta; no luck. I updated and trashed my old MFM2 .ksd in the database cache- still no go. Loading from Windows worked, so I resaved it- works fine now :?

I'm getting some extremely nasty sounds from the Doom knob - try it on some Massive sub bass starting from a dubby preset in MFM and move the knob slowly

(It basically moves every param from all 4 delay lines and filters plus the dry/wet with one knob except I also randomly moved and reversed few of the destinations so everything didn't move exactly the same way)

Post

I find everything can get nasty with the Doom knob- I think the feedback's got a lot to do with it.

I'll try tweaking it later today- as it sits right now, the Doom knob's almost too extreme in most cases.

Hi guys,

I also had made a template for MFM2 back awhile, but had some trouble
with some presets, using MFM2 inside Kore2 within Cubase 4.
I also tried it within an Ableton Live Demo.
I first thought it is an issue with the plugin latency, but
it seems to me, that it affects all presets with a LFO Restart setting
other than "free runing".
For example with the preset "Simple reverse" from the Justin Timewarp soundset
I can't get no sound out, since the LFOs do not start at all.

So anybody encountered the same behavour ?
I think, this also effects other plugins like filterscape, but with a delay
it's especially annoying, if it's somehow out of sync.

I've written to Urs about the issue awhile ago, he kindly responded, that he's
going to look into it, but I don't know how far he's been into it.

aMUSED mentioned a new beta, I would like to try it out, to see, if this
has been sorted out. Where and how can I download it ?

Would be glad to hear about some other's experiences on this, and hopefully
this can be fixed, cos' I don't care that much about new feature's, but this
issue keeps me from using these otherwise awsome plugins a whole lot more.

Cheers

Thanks, aMUSED
Gonna try it out, I'll report back later.

I just realised something that's weird - it's showing up under instruments not effects in KORE's template folder even though the plugin itself shows up under effects.
