I was going to write a cute little MUX wrapper for SFZ.
SFZ FAQ wrote:sfz responds to all MIDI controls defined in the General MIDI specification:
Note On/Off
Pitch Bend (default to ±2 semitones)
Modulation Wheel (CC1)
Volume (CC7)
Pan (CC10)
...
Release (CC72)
All Notes Off
All Controllers Off
Then I realised I'd not be able to get at the UI to change samples, etc. So I thought a MUX to generate the MIDI messages... but MUX doesn't let me generate MIDI :cry:.

(Yes, I know I could use SFZ Buddy... this was an exercise in doing it in MULAB :).)

Can I add to the wishlist for a way to have creatively control MIDI in MUX?

Could you please elaborate on what you exactly request. Thanks!

All of the things a MUX offers create and manipulate audio.

I'd like a similar set of tools for MIDI, exposed through the meta parameters. I'd like to be able to combine them, of course.

P1 -> LFO rate
P2 -> LFO depth
LFO -> MIDI CC generator; CC# set to 10 (pan); offset=64, depth=20
MIDI CC generator -> MIDI output

Then you'd route the MUX output to somewhere - e.g. SFZ, in this case.

Even something simply like
P1 -> MIDI CC generator; CC# set to 91 (reverb level); offset=0, depth=127
P2 -> MIDI CC generator; CC# set to 93 (chorus level); offset=0, depth=127

Then you could use the MUX knobs to control a synth with only a MIDI UI (like SFZ).

Ok, i see, thanks.

Added a note on the whishlist.
