XY assign

Hi there,
I'm just not understanding how to assign effects/filters to XYs. Could be because I'm working the other way around. I have midi messages coming from PD to Zebra (VST unit), affecting parameters that affect X1, Y1 X2 Y2. Having pressed XY1, I can add the effects, but then how do I assign the Y? Not too fussy which effect happens where.
cheers

Select the ones on the right side now. The left side is X. The right side is Y.RolandT wrote:Hi there,

Make sure you have an effect on like delay. Then at the bottom XYassign tab
click on XY1, then click a slot on the right. it says (none). Scroll to the bottom to see delay, then use those dropdown menus to select a parimeter.
Cheers,

Good news: I've spent the day bugfixing things and used some time around that to add quick assignments for XYs to knobs. So instead of the pull-down menus of the XY assign page, one can just right-click a knob and set it up. Will post this as soon as possible.

Please try this:
http://www.u-he.com/Zebra23MacInstall.zip (VST & AU, RTAS)
http://www.u-he.com/Zebra23Winstaller.zip (normal installer for Windows)
These versions have "assign to..." in the context menu, right below MidiLearn. This offers a list of all XYs, which you can then add quickly, while the XY automatically adjusts to the parameter's range.

Thanks!
By the way - the dropped note thing in Live 7 with the Mac VST also seems to be fixed here. Good thing it's a long weekend here!

Little things like this might not seem like much but when you do something hundreds of times they can really change the overall experience. Thanks again!
