I like the big GUIS, but I'm kinda blind. Anyways, I think these look awesome.

if they're resizable, it's all good for everybody.
The size shown looks good to me though, and I'm on a laptop.

Frequency shifter and Pitch Shifter are different things and if I remember correctly there is a kind of granular pitch shifter in the bundle as well.MitchK1989 wrote:I have a few questions though... Feedback on the frequency shifter? How is that supposed to work? I see no control for delay time or anything like that to make it work like other frequency shifter/delay plugs...
I assume that the feedback knob on the frequency shifter sends effected audio back through the carrier stream to be modulated once again by a sine or such, similar to how a ring modulator works.

8 - Delay (not that mysterious after all, but sick to design *right*)MitchK1989 wrote:Is there anywhere I can find a list of all 9?
1 - Frequency Shifter
2 - Flanger
3 - Phaser
4 - EQ
5 - Filter
6 - Reverb
7 - Pan/Tremolo
8 - ???
9 - Uhbik-X? (is that counted in the 9?)
9 - Uhbik-X, indeed as it's not just a rack of Uhbiks. Think multiband, delay, feedback
abandoned for the moment but certainly up for later release:
10 - Granular Device (Pitch Shifting, Pitch Correction, postponed due to excessive R&D)
11 - Rotary Speaker (got to work out what Mr. Gasm did here and set it up for surround)
Btw... Flanger -> Chorus, Tremolo -> Trancegate, Filter -> Distortion

a boy can still dream of a U-He granulizer... MFM 3 perhaps?Urs wrote:

I may have a moment tomorrow. The interesting aspect of the Frequency Shifter is that it sounds just like a phaser on small detunes (less than 2 Hz). But it goes only up or only down.Arksun wrote:Such a tease :p
Looking great!, any chance of any more audio teasers?. I'm particuarly curious to hear what the frequency shifter and phaser effects plugs sound like.
I know of only one other Freq Shifter that does un-delayed feedback. But it doesn't have a nice spectral bandwidth, nor is it free of aliasing. Uhbik-S has full audio range bandwidth and close to no aliasing on Nyquist nor 0 Hz.
Ok. A quicky:

More intriguing u-he goodies coming down the line soon - sweet. I still have to get Filterscape and MFM and get a handle on them...I'm seriously lagging behind.
And yeah, to echo what was said earlier, those have to be the sexiest knobs I've ever seen on a GUI. Probably no way you could do anything like that on Zebra - the Z2 GUI probably would have to fill up an entire 24" widescreen in order to have knobs with so much detail. But for the simpler Uhbik modules, they really do look fantastic.
