It does indeed work perfectly :tu:!

The grey notes are repeated closely, the red have been recorded after midiDuplicateBlocker.

cool... i'm thinking it might be useful to have an optional time limit on the blocking of duplicates. oh, and a way to reset it.

Well not sure if reset is needed unless something is incre/decrementing under the hood. A time intervil would be useful.

Thanks for the updates!
Bank select is working perfectly from midiprogramchange now.
Also. thanks to the midiCCreset modifications and duplicate blocker
I have finally finished and much simplified? a working combination of elements in Bidule that allows instant recall of full mix scenes in Live in parallel with proper feedback to my midi controllers accross multiple pages of mappings, accross multiple mix scenes. This is awesome! My measly donation is starting to feel a little cheap for how much these wicked little plugs have helped me so keep an eye on the paypal, I plan on pitching in a bit more.

I was also just playing around with midinotestoCC, using it to tweak the filter of a synth with the same notes I was playing with.Super cool but I was wishing there was some type of spread function for the CC values so I could specify much wider range maximum and minimum CC values than fit the note ranges I was playing. Some sort of exponentializer or whatever you would call it.
For example you could play two notes such as C0 and C#0 and with the "ahem" exponentializer slider vary the CC range anywhere from just 64-65 or 0-127.
Or is that already there and I somehow missed it?

Post

i think it is there... the input note range (Low Note / High Note) is stretched to the CC range (Low NCC Value / High NCC Value). i just tested it and was able to do like your example, except that the CC range is set by two sliders instead of one.

insertpizhere: Thanks for these plugins they become part of my production tools. Originally you mentioned a complex CC lfo (one LFO modulating the other etc.) is there any news on this?

Thanks :tu:

Post

i found that i could use multiple copies of the "simple" LFO modulating each other to get very complex stuff going, so i haven't put any work into an integrated complex version. with the midiCCModulator plugin, it can get even more complicated...

if anything i will probably update the simple LFO first, with some chaotic/fractal waveforms.

Thanks for reply, extra waveforms would be great news for simpleLFO.

Yes using one simpleLFO to modulate the another is a solution, it's just that a self contained complex LFO might be a cleaner, easier to function and manage solution. I'll look into utilising the midiCCModulator.

Thanks ;)

Post

did you do something regarding the "toggle-groups" midi plugin?

Post

not yet... i've been working on something else. i'll see if i can do the toggle groups this week.

plug request: mici-cc-monitor
works like the smexoscope vst but with midi.
you select a cc and the progression will be visualized o screen.
with selectable speed.

i use to build myself my midi controllers and this plug could help me to "see" how different sensors react...

ps:i know it's not that usefull

Post

have you tried platique's midi cc monitor? it's been very useful to me.

that reminds me... the other day i did finally fix my midi monitor plugin:

What was wrong with it in the 1st place??

it couldn't handle large amounts of data without crashing.

there are a lot of other midi monitor plugins, but i think mine is the only one that can be resized, which is what makes it worthwhile.
