wow - bumpage!

Thanks for that ouroboros, glad you like it :) Did you know about the update I did last year where the oversampling is now switchable within the plug, rather than two separate plugs?

UI? I'd be interested to see what you do, new light through old windows and all that ;)

You know, I just found out this week  I was glad that after installing the new one the old presets I made worked just fine:) Quite a bit back I was struggling to sound out some kicks and a bass. -You know how you find a kick you like, but no matter what you do, the tone never "fits" - either it's too hollow, too boomy, or too clicky? My usual EQs feel like they just lop off the character, but I found that EQ22 did exactly what I needed easily and musically. (Fwiw, I find I frequently need to roll off a bit of the mid his and lo lows with a little tube saturation.) The genius for me is that when I listen to the kick and the bass together, if the kick is reasonably close to the bass fundamental, the octave function "tunes" the sound to really complement the bass. It feels like a secret weapon 8)

EQ22, favourite of the KVRDC that year. Still love it, and still use it at least half of the times where characterless isn't in order.

Thanks again Duncan!

It's not what you use, it's how you use it...

Hey Duncan, have you ever got to the bottom of the 'zeroed out' bug?
I have that, and also frequent crashes of my host :(

Ableton Live 7, XP SP2, AMD Turion 64*2

Using the 1.1 version.

ok here's something I was toying around with. the fullsize image is preferable, of course:

Upon further investigation, the zeroed out bug also happen with your other plugins that i have, Linear Phasor and Vascillator. Those don't crash though.

very nice :) Do you have the image strips for knobs and sliders? also the font for the readout?

I'm happy to do this, but will be after Christmas before I can get to it :)

Just had to remind myself of what that bug was... I never did get a satisfactory answer to what was going on. It must be that some hosts make calls in different orders and things get screwed up - maybe I need to revisit the initialisation.

Have you tried Mulore - does it do the same?

Just tried it.
Does not happen with Mulore...

great :) I'll review the source and see what I did differently! There's a chance then that Duckling Compressor and PanGloss are OK as well.. :)

thx for that.

Yeah, I'm working almost exclusively in knobman and skinman. No hurries or worries. I just wanted to finish a version I've been toying with. I went with "precision" and "rough draft" as a theme, but it doesn't exactly communicate warmth :hihi: I'll see if I can dope up some others and if you like, you can use them -if not, I'll still use it with nothing but copious praise for it!
