trying to use the demo in sonar 7 and bidule and cant find a midi out. in bidule it does not have a midi out.

Is MIDI out not implemented in the vst demo ?

Btw, got a realtimeAssertion (sbhelper.cpp,236) closing bidule while consequence was running.

Revorg,

I haven't tried it yet, but be sure to check the "allow MIDI out" box (or words to that effect) when you load Consequence in Sonar. Or, you can right-click on its gui in the Synth Rack, in the lower left corner of the rack space, and enable MIDI out.

I'm not at my DAW, so I'm suggesting this without testing it. Hope that helps.

yes a right click didnt work. there is no midi out. when i loaded it in bidule there was no midi out. it seems midi out is not implemented in the demo. i hope this gets a fix.

91mb download for a Chord Generator? What does it all come with that it takes up close to 100mb?

Is the CPU use any good? I have Effectrix and it is very CPU-friendly software.

I emailed him today about midi out and got a fast response. He said it isn't available in the demo yet, but hopes to get a demo out today with midi out enabled.

im right in thinking that you can't load your own samples in this? thats a deal breaker for me and i was looking forward to this as well

I watched the little brief video and it says it comes with 250 of it's own instruments or something like that, so I'd imagine that's what takes up all the space.

I've been looking forward to this too, but so far I'm not sure if it's what I want or not. Guess I'll have to demo it sometime.

I am also curious about trying the midi out, as I would want to try the sequencer w/my own creations before purchasing.

(Using the VST w/Live 7 on OS X.)

we just uploaded new demo versions with midi-out working,
some other problems have been fixed as well.

Please download the new demo and check it out!

I uploaded a small video which shows how to setup Consequence
sending Midi to other plugins in Ableton Live.

You can trigger your MIDI-compatible gear, so you can use your favorite
sampler for that,
