Anyway you can try downloading again using the new downloader. Just before I check it.
One more thing - If anyone gets the same problem, please write me immediately to info@meldaproduction.com, because that may mean, that the server is corrupt. Thanks a lot! (but I hope it will not

So I had already downloaded a bunch of the file, then went to start it again today at work, and it started over. Seems that it is now downloading a file by a different name with the version number in it? So I lost all my progress so far?

Yeah, you need the same downloader as you used at work. We have released the new version, which creates another file. So now you are downloading newest version.koolkeys wrote:So I had already downloaded a bunch of the file, then went to start it again today at work, and it started over. So do we need to start over if we're still downloading the original? I'm at only %20 after about 16 hours...MeldaProduction wrote:Yeah, you need the same downloader as you used at work. If you started downloading the original (as most of you did), just please continue and when finished, you will be asked to get the newest update. So everything is ok. You just need to use the same downloader (which I don't understand why you would not).
And when you start now, you will be already downloading the newest version.
PS. Fortunately we have already a few successful downloads reported, so the error with the invalid download was only accidental. But the fix is coming anyway!

I started the same downloader, but it just started downloading a different file than I already had in progress. So I'm basically starting from scratch. This may be a big issue for customers as well if you let them download it. Wouldn't want them to get half way through, pause their download, you release an update, and they start it again to realize they have to start from scratch.MeldaProduction wrote:Yeah, you need the same downloader as you used at work. Maybe I'm missing something and doing something wrong, but the downloader is the same as I used before both at work and home. It's just starting a new, updated file.

Brent I'm not sure what you did, but assume you copied both files to a different computer. The thing is, that the downloader contains the target filename somehow inside it, so now you really must be using the new one. Unless some weird error happened, which I cannot imagine how.koolkeys wrote: I started the same downloader, but it just started downloading a different file than I already had in progress. Did you do it like this?
Can anyone else confirm similar behaviour?
I'll check it anyway, but I don't think there is an error. Will see..

Are you going to email me the fix, or post it on your website? Anyway, the sooner you could send me it the better! I'm dying to try out Mdrummer2!MeldaProduction wrote:No no.sockofgold wrote: So do we need to start over if we're still downloading the original? I'm at only %20 after about 16 hours...

I only downloaded a single downloader. It hasn't changed directories or computers at all. Still in the same place I downloaded it to. When I have been downloading so far, it was downloading a file named: mdrummer2_large_setup.exe. However, when I started downloading today using the same downloader, it started over downloading a file named: mdrummer2_large_2_05_setup.exe, also with about a 3.5GB file size.MeldaProduction wrote:Brent I'm not sure what you did, but assume you copied both files to a different computer. I'm not sure what I could have done wrong really because I have stopped and started the download three times or so already with no issues. But today, the problem started. It's not the end of the world, but it will take that much longer for me to redownload the entire part I already have.

Hey ro1000, please use this downloader:ro1000 wrote: Are you going to email me the fix, or post it on your website? Anyway, the sooner you could send me it the better! I'm dying to try out Mdrummer2!

Place it to the directory with the other downloader and the main 3.5GB installer, it will work for some time and fix possible errors. I've tested it a little, but really just a little, so I hope it is ok. So please let me know, how it looks.
Cheers!

Hey Brent,
you have still the downloaded part (let's say 2GB) file, right?
So please download the same downloader -
http://www.meldaproduction.com/download ... ne_fix.exe
place it to the same directory and it should continue. I just checked - it is creating mdrummer2_large_setup.exe, which is your file, isn't it?

Well, that seems to be downloading the right file! I don't have any idea why the other one started downloading a new file, but this one picked up right where I left off last night.MeldaProduction wrote:Hey Brent,
