I just looked in the online manual and found no indication of what format the tuning tables should be for loading by Zebra 2.3.
I tried saving a .scl file from Scala and putting it into the Tunefiles folder, then instantiated Zebra in Cubase 4.5 -- and the browser window that I get when I click on "default scale" is still empty. So evidently the desired format is not .scl. Can anybody tell me what it is?
Thanks!

P.S.: Sorry for registering as Albert Schweitzer. The stupid KVR software already has me registered, and won't send me my password unless I specify the correct username _and_ email. Some combination of the usual names would probably work, but KVR is so Earth-shatteringly important to me that I never bothered to jot down my account info. Hence, a new account as Albert Schweitzer.

I think it uses .tun files, but I'm not sure.

Yup, that's correct. That was my second guess, but Scala's software lacks a "save as" command with a choice of file types (probably for good reasons having to do with the types themselves). So I scouted around on the Web and found a page in the CronoX manual that explains exactly how to save .tun files from Scala. Gotta love the command-line interface.MitchK1989 wrote:I think it uses .tun files, but I'm not sure.
Zebra has to be instantiated after the .tun file is put in its Tunefiles directory, as it doesn't recheck that directory when you click the "default scale" button. But it does work -- and thanks to the addition of the Voice Drift switch (I'll take a bit of credit for requesting that Urs add this switch -- others may have made the same request), Zebra can now play microtonal scales with perfect intonation. Ahhhh....

Roughly 79% of the credit goes to you as you delivered a good reason for itAlbert Schweitzer wrote:I'll take a bit of credit for requesting that Urs add this switch
