I've just discovered something very cool.
Using the WFT oscillator plugin, one can randomize the waveform and then save the result out as a single waveform file. Very powerful! I'm also the owner of an Korg Electribe SX and many of my sounds are constructed as single waveforms. This method saves a huge amount of memory. I've been searching for this capability for quite some time!
I'm on mac so it's not a surprise that the resulting waveform is saved as an AIFF file. However I'd like to change this behavior so I can skip the step of converting it to WAV. Is it possible to change the default to WAV instead of aiff?

If you use "Save As..." and explicitly add a ".Wav" extension, then the waveform is saved as a WAVE file.
If no extension is added, then the default format is used, which is AIFF on OSX and WAVE on Windows.
