Ok, so supposedly it does have some kind of synthesis part which can only be accessed by sound designers and not by Nexus users? Sounds a bit weird to me actually. But either way, also in that case you're still entirely dependent on the sound designers. You still can't create your own sounds or edit them the way you like...xotlot wrote:http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=235450

links don't work and i was sooo depending on these to get my track to no1 in the charts, now i have to find an alterior wayLennard wrote:Here's the bass AND the lead from Show Me Love:

Actually Nexus uses more CPU than Sylenth1 on most presets.tehlord wrote:I also found that the CPU usage is far lower than a synth VST as the computer isn't having to work out that much.
They work fine here. But if you copy them to your browser instead or directly clicking them, you may need to remove the space that kvr adds to links for some reason.sureno wrote:links don't work and i was sooo depending on these to get my track to no1 in the charts, now i have to find an alterior wayLennard wrote:Here's the bass AND the lead from Show Me Love:

I got the same thing when I left-clicked the links. You need to right-click and "save as."nope if i click i get some weird script:
just saw this ... and yes, you're right. nexus has a full va synthesis under the hood. however, imo they're not comparable, as nexus can't be programmed from scratch, it's a tweak-the-preset-you-like synth, based on real osc's and a myriad of samples. sylenth is a fully from scratch programmable synth.jupiter8 wrote:BTW Nexus is far from just purchasing samples. It has a fully fledged synth engine so it's not the same thing as just buying some samples. Some day people will understand this but i fear that day is very far in the future. But some day and it will be a gloriuos day.
