No reason why Albino3 or Tassman4 should not run, we requested some NFRs and I will make some wizard files for you.
....would be great, thanks: this would make the v-machine "a real instrument" for my WX-5 Windcontroller :-)

...don't need much more....

BTW: pete from sm pro audio already has my (not working) wizard-file for the Albino3 ...this info just for you at sm pro to prevent double work...
perhaps you can contact each other internally...

Thanks for the help to you all!

Hi,

Anyone able to load presets with GForce Minimonsta?

The plugin loads in the V-Machine but it's not possible to change presets,
my wizard points the directory where the patches are located in the usb stick,
but just able to see the first patch only

GForce plugs doesnt uses fxb banks format, must be pointed to a
folder where every presets it's a single file.

In regards to TRUE PIANOS, the demo certainly loads and works on the application.

yes it works, but the V-Machine CPU it's too weak to handle more than a few notes,

not really useful for anyone willing to play piano with this thing

Hi, I'm interested on purchasing the V-Machine. But I wait for a confirmation about some vst compatibility.
Here are the ones I would like to run in it:
* G-MEDIA M-TRON
* ARTURIA CS-80
* NI BATTERY
* NI PRO-53
* PIANOTEQ 2.3
* SPECTRASONICS ATMOSPHERE

* Are they all going to be compatible with v-machine?

* Is it posible to use two MIDI controllers, eg. one keyboard for synth stuff and a control pad for battery?, or I will have to wait for newer firmwares?

* Can I assign synth parameters to knobs or it isn't yet implemented?

Thanks

Hi There. I know somebody use Battery yet. The rest shouldn't be problem. U can use two different controllers! The knobs MIDI learn works fast and perfect!

If I understand correctly, the v-machine is not good for a pianist with a midi controller keyboard. Would appreciate any replies. Thanks, Ray

Hi,

What makes you think it is not good for a pianist with a controller?
The first INCLUDED patch is a Sample Tank Grand Piano..

Hi,

With Minimonsta and other similar plugs which only run with FXB banks, the easiest way to solve this right now:

On the VFX application create a preset for each sound you want, so instead of changing patches you change presets. The plug will not re-load each time, (as it is the same plug and the V-Machine knows this) it will load what is called VST chunks which we support.

It is not a VST requirement to support VST chunks but most plugins do.

A post before mine said the v-machine's cpu couldn't handle more than a few notes. Are 10 note chords okay with the v-machine? Later, Ray

Post

Hi,

It depends on the plugin, the post before was specifically talking about 1 plugin which has a large CPU load.

You can play 32 not ployphony on others..

Thanks Danny. Looks like I'll get myself a v-machine for X-mas. Later, Ray

Hi Tricatel,

thanks for that :)

the audio inputs works! you need to do the following: create a new bank in the VFX app, activate the audio input by clicking on "L" and/or"R" above the aux 1 send. insert some nice effects (take of wizard files please) and sync the bank to the v-machine.

cheers

He was talking about Truepianos... is THAT "a large CPU load", in V-Machine terms??? Well, that's it for me then. I'm extremely disappointed.

I've been following this thread for weeks, reading about the V-Machine for months, hoping that I was finally able to replace my CX-3 and Promega 3 with a V-machine running VB3, Truepianos and Elektrik Piano simultaneously.

As it turns out, VB3 would work, Truepianos hardly, Elektrik Piano... dunno (still not clear to me if and how this machine would stream large Gb sample banks from an external USB drive, since the internal 1GB disk is too small).

Everything about the concept looked right to me, but WHY SKIMP ON THE HARDWARE? 2gb ram instead of 500mb, a (dualcore) 2ghz cpu instead of that 1ghz thing (where on earth do you still find those???), a 80gb harddisk, those are standard cheap components in todays pc-land i would say, what would the price-difference have been? And the V-rack is in muse receptor territory, i'm afraid, that would be overkill (don't need all those in-outputs).

Damn, we were so close... but you've lost me as a potential customer, i'm afraid :(
