While the increased hard drive throughput and processing speed sound great, the bit about "10X the networking bandwidth" is intriguing, but cryptic. Does this mean we will be able to get lower latency over Uniwire?

It means you get a Gigabit net card as opposed to the current 10/100.

While this could lead me back to the same question, I suppose a critical reading of the ad copy on their web site probably does answer my question: While the feature list on the Muse website specifically touts the ability to "Transfer files and back up your RECEPTOR in 1/10th the time," when it comes to Uniwire, it simply says "Use UniWire to accelerate your DAW's performance by running all your power-hungry virtual instruments and effects on the super-stable RECEPTOR 2 PRO and PRO MAX."Kermit Jagger wrote:It means you get a Gigabit net card as opposed to the current 10/100.
The lack of any statement regarding an improvement in Uniwire latency probably means it works about the same. Not a huge deal for me, since I see Receptor as more of a live tool.

...sorry, i have to ask again as i do not understand but am trying to resolve a UniWire-performance-problem with a possible upgrade:

...what do you mean by this? - does it mean you do not use UniWire, as you go in directly via MIDI and out via the audio-out?
