I play both B4 II and MrRay73 on my V-Machine and they are VERY smooth, very large poliphony and no clipping! I tried Lounge Lizard 3 as well and it runs perfectly too (but I use MrRay because I don't like Lounge Lizard's interface, and it takes too much time to load presets).stisti wrote:Do you think that the V-Machine is sufficient to running B4 and a Rhodes's VST (like electrik piano, lounge lizard or Mr ray 73) ?
All three plug ins load very fast, in like 1,5 seconds!
Hope they will manage to simplify installation procedures, because the V-Machine is really an amazing product, and what it only needs is to be a bit more accessible!

I don't think it works correctly for now, it will just modify the preset, but the plug in will stay on the V-Machine. To delete it, you have to open the menu (press both bank buttons together) and then navigate to the "delete plug in" option. There you can remove your vsts from the V-Machine.
To manage things from the VFX I think we will have to wait for a file manager mode (which will come soon if I understood correctly).
Oh and for now I don't think you can see how much space you have left. Just look how big your "vmachine" directory is!
EDIT: You can see how much space you have left. You have to open the menu (both bank buttons together) and navigate to the left. You'll see how much memory is used in %.

Sorry to say that my V-Machine still refuses to update the firmware. I don't think it will take more than 1 hour for an update. Danny, why don't you release just the firmware update in a separate file?
The VFX app shows the hourglass and the V-Machine shows "V-MACHINE Update Connected..." and nothing happens after several minutes.
After turning off the unit and shutting down the program, everything is like before.
EDIT (important info):
I tried to uninstall the Maple Virtual Midi port and now the update process is going... Apparently the VFX app opens all MIDI INs and OUTs and the presence of the virtual ports could create a loop in the communication that freezes the apps.
On the other hand, the Maple VMC is a very important tool for me. It would be nice to choose the appropriate MIDI IN and OUT ports in the VFX app, and leave all other ports untouched.

Nope...Nitrofunk wrote:Does your EG70-VSTi run smoother with the latest V-Machine-Firmwareupdate?
Unfortunately EG70 is quite a CPU hog... I'll see what I can do to reduce the CPU load, but I don't think I can do miracles...
