No reason why it should not work. Which plug is it?
No sustain for any sound what's standard on the vmachine and neither for a imported B4 plugin.

Sounds cool......you nerd.ZioKiller wrote:I tell you how I ported Pianoteq and Truepianos to the V-Machine with 64 (or 80) notes of polyphony...![]()
I own the bundle SampleLord + Extreme Sample Converter. The latter has a great function, it can sample the output from other VST instruments and automatically create a sound bank, all in a bunch of seconds. I know, many new programs have this function, but I never used it before and at first I was a bit skeptical, but EXSC really does a great job.
So, all I had to do was to choose a nice preset on the VSTi and select reasonable split points for sampling. The program did the rest. After that, a bit of editing in SampleLord and finally I could export a fxp preset (or chunk file, if using the VFX app).
I know, it's not the same thing as playing the actual VST instruments, but now I can have a nice piano sound on my V-Machine.
I use an M-Audio Prokeys 88 controller, sustain works fine for all banks on mine....PX5 wrote:Hi,
Does anyone know why my sustain pedal doesn't work with none of the plugs in the Vmachine?
If I run a certain plug in Cubase sustain works well, same plug in vmachine, no sustain![]()

I got the CS-80V demo working at last! thanks VFXAU. the CS80 plugin is quit CPU demanding but if you turn of the internal Delay and effects it works flawless.FUT error is a FILE SYSTEM ERROR, normally means it cannot find a file you are trying to tell the application to load, check that any file you have pointed to actually does exist. I did not test this myself but I will ask some users who have for you.
Unfortunately I'm getting the ERROR FUT313 message when using this Wizard. Interestingly, when i impor the VSTi without the vfxinfo file, i can play within the app. Tried lots of different workarounds, e.g. changing plug in folder name to MTPro (name that VFX app lists the Mtron Pro as) but still no joy.MatthewSkinner wrote:GForce M-tron Pro full version now working, download wizard file from here.

You checked the sustain is working on the VFX application I presume, it cannot be a hardware fault (V-Machine) as this is just midi information coming in with NOTE information from your keyboard. You can check what your keyboard is sending out with one of the free MIDI MONITORS if you like and let me know.PX5 wrote:VFXAU wrote:Hi VFXAU,

Ok, for some reason (and this happens with lots of applications) sometimes where we install the plugin is not where the user intalls it so please check the location of the folders compared to what the wizard references to.meastempo wrote:I got the CS-80V demo working at last! thanks VFXAU. the CS80 plugin is quit CPU demanding but if you turn of the internal Delay and effects it works flawless.FUT error is a FILE SYSTEM ERROR, normally means it cannot find a file you are trying to tell the application to load, check that any file you have pointed to actually does exist. i changed the vxfinfo file from sm's site from:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arturia\cs80v]
"installdir"="p:\\Arturia CS80V\\CS-80V"
to:
"installdir"="p:\\Arturia CS80V"
and the V-machine found the plugin, but i cant change the original presets for now, only the first preset is sounding for now.
It would be nice to have some sort of automated vfxinfo file creation function from vfxhost, that export all registry keys and folders wanted, thats for my wishlist. This machine is great! it's getting better every day.
I think the plan is to have this up by the end of the week (centralized place to file bug reports and feature requests). I cannot answer the other question but I will ask.appel wrote:@VFXAU: It would be great if there was a centralized place to file bug reports and feature requests for the V-Machine and VFX. It would also be nice, if at all possible, to open up the source code of the VFX application and perhaps even the internal distro of the V-machine and host the project at sourceforge, Google code or Launchpad!

All who agree say 'aye'!
I hear you... you will have it, I would say after the xmas break.gBeat2 wrote:aye!!!

Here is a dump, I think it has to do with my Technics PX5, with my Roland D5 and Vmachine the sustain works fine. Still strange that sustain works fine with PX5 and for example Cubase.You checked the sustain is working on the VFX application I presume, it cannot be a hardware fault (V-Machine) as this is just midi information coming in with NOTE information from your keyboard.
