It's a Technics SX-PX, manual says: 'This product adheres to MIDI specification as published by the Japan MIDI Association'.I don't know, but that's a standard since the first days of MIDI (1982!), I can't believe there's a keyboard out there that uses a different message type for the sustain pedal.
Which keyboard are you using? Check the user's manual.

Glitch as a plugin I have not tested...
Define Glitch?
If you mean CPU OVERLOAD... Sure it could, same as a PC could, but the idea is to set it up in your own enviroment and use it as you would use it live to test your plugins don't overload.
If it runs well then it will always run this way. That is it's main function.
It is very easy to see if you will overload it or not. (CPU METER)
If you are talking about Sudden Glitches or Stops etc... no reason for this to occur, it does not have to process any other functions like a standard OS based system does. In all honnesty, I have been using mine for 5 months now since Pre Production units were out, it has not failed, the hardware is very solid. I am not just saying this, please believe me, I know what went into it.
I would not be doing this support if I did not believe in the platform as a reliable alternative.
I will be very happy to hear of any Glitches as such and resolve them if possible.

Wow, wonderful to see a plugin vendor jump in and support this new product, kudos to you and I hope more vendors will be forthcoming....george wrote:Yes, just use the following wizard (credits to Danny/SMPro Audio):gBeat2 wrote:Can i use Discovery of Discodsp? thanks

Thanks, but as I said, I don't use SF2 sound fonts; I use SFZ text files. These contain setup data, including paths to sound files ANYWHERE on a machine (not just subdirectories to the plugin).VFXAU wrote:SFZ works anyway, I use it myself it is great, reasonable sound font player. We also have some other which are being released shortly. With SFZ put the SF2 file you want to use in a Directory under the plug, then when you set up the preset in the VFX application, load the sound and patch you want, then hit save, it will do a VST CHUNK save which will then automatically load all the details you have on the screen when you load this preset on the V-machine.
I would then save this bank onto a STICK and import it. I have been using SFZ for months.
I am hoping that this will work.

50 deg.C! Wow! And in such a small box, too! And from what I see the fan is mounted on the side, which means it must be a really small fan spinning incredibly fast. Not much you can do with that to dampen it's noise.VFXAU wrote:Fan Noise.. In an earlier post I said that the design had to witstand heat of upto 50c and that is how we test it, (in an oven, serious!!!) and it was designed for Live use more then anything else.
Large fans produce more air for less noise, but unless the entire bottom is made into a fan, I guess we are going to have to live with it.

We are testing discovery at the moment, I don't think you will get more then 2-3 note polyphony(unless you switch off effects etc). Several others are out as well.gBeat2 wrote:Can i use Discovery of Discodsp? thanksgBeat2 wrote:i'm looking for a virtual analog free vst for the v-machine, like Discovery but free.
