Does anybody on the forum have any experience using any of the Korg Nano devices with the Receptor? I am particularly interested in the NanoKontrol surface as a master controller for channel volume, effects, bypass etc. It would be great to have something that tiny for quick set-up, flexible control, and rig streamlining. I am currently using an Axiom Keyboard controller and Trigger Finger combo, but I find myself wishing for more faders and buttons. (I must have some serious control issues) At this point I run the Axiom as a USB device and power the Trigger Finger off of USB while using it's MIDI out (damn this 1 USB MIDI device limitation!, as well as a occasional FCB1010 usage (which is annoyingly large and difficult to pack). If the NanoKontrol drivers are compatible with the Receptor it would mean having to run the Axiom with a separate power source and outputting from its physical MIDI output. That may be adding more cable mess than it's worth for a few more faders. The bulk of my Receptor use is in situations where I am improvising for dance class accompaniment, which calls for some major flexibility.

I just bought the Korg Nano Controller. I haven't tried to do too much with it yet, but I can tell you that I was able to control B4II on Receptor with it. I set it up on my Mac and just plugged it into Receptor and it worked fine. I haven't tried to control any Receptor Mixer parameters - didn't really buy it for that. BTW plug it in to Receptor before turning Receptor on - it did not seem to work hot plugging.

Do anyone was able to use NanoKontrol transport to Start/Stop Reaktor 5 on Receptor. I am searching over the internet but still cannot find proper MMC parameters to do that. For example my Doepfer LMK4+ is working fine with Reaktor transport but cannot find information what kind of real message is Doepfer sending to Receptor.

I got answer from Doepfer support:
Doepfer does not send MMC but midi realtime message only.
I think it is for example: to start sequencer it sending the following message
Timing Clock - 11111000 ( 24 by quarter) plus Start - 11111010
