Hey kids,

Happy Holidays to all! :D

I was wondering what our experienced Zebra colleagues would recommend as the best soundbank for smoooooooth pads especially, and high-quality sounds in general, that a film/TV professional would be happy with, not so much the "bleep-bleep, bloop-bloop", experimental stuff.

Any ideas? [/list]

I think you can get great pads in any of the soundsets U-he.com offers. First, get the free Zebra Food set, found in a post on this forum. It is well worth paying for, but it's free!

Next, I'd say get OldSkool and AfterSkool. Anything by Micheal Kastrup will fit the bill. I also have Transmission and Science, which are also great, but seem to have more non-pad sounds included.

Zebra2 just makes wonderful pads, no matter how you look at it.

Thanks for the speedy response, dburns; that was exactly what I was looking for!

Actually, I was under the misimpression that Zebra Food was pay! Why don't I have that in my folder! Woot! Grabbing now, and I'll pick up those "Skool" sets; they looked quite delicious.

Zebra2 is indeed amazing for pads! But I'm still getting used to the interface and editing, and my back is against the wall with a deadline, so I can't spend the time to explore it right now. I did have some good pads saved on the old PC, but I can't get them without somewhat of a struggle.

Thanks again, man! Appreciate it! :D :tu:
