Thanks to Adam for this wonderful soundset. The bank contains 64 patches and more than half are just awesome.
My favourite patch is "LEAD - Vangelis" which is an exact replica from Vangelis' "Blade Runner" soudtrack (Titles: "Main Titles", "Tears In Rain"). I compared it to the original song. This sound is so beautiful i could almost cry...

So this means Sylenth1 could also emulate a CS-80, nice !! If i really think about it Sylenth1 with it's two part structure is quite similar to the CS-80 !

Hey sorry i dont want to be the bad guy, the sounds sound really great but dont you think that 20 euros for presets are a lot? i dont know, its like 1/6 of sylenths price wich comes with 1500+ presets, why would someone buy it, i know if he is rich or something then yes! dont get me wrong tho, your sounds are insane especialy the prodigy one! i dont know guys who make presets at all, maybe you are famous for your sounds and making money just from that, i just said my opinion about how i feel,,,

I already made the first 64 that everyone gets free with sylenth. And I wanted a full 128 bank. If you imagine that the this and the other 64 are for only 20 € i think its a pretty good deal.

The sounds in this bank I had no quarms on spending my last £20 for these. Got them straight away, and they are fitting into my productions so well.

You might shit your pants now, but I mostly design the presets on my internet computer which i use more, and there i use some fugly crappy philips speakers lol.
The thing behind speakers is once you understand them you will know how they respond, and you can get the results that you want.

You both make fantastic presets and I rate you both really really highly. I think that Adam creates the MIDIs simply to show off the sounds themselves and to get sales, not so people can create rip-off versions of tracks.

Frankly, I've already bought the set and I find them a highly tweakable base to start my sounds from, as they are very much in the right ball-park for me. The thing is, they can be used for so much more than what Adam has shown and you know that as well as I do .

Oh god, that came across badly, lol. I was trying to make a compliment!. Adam can recreate the kind of kick ass sounds other producers have in their own tracks for other people to use (and a lot of people would love to get their hands on!).

Well, when its working out at just around 15 cents per preset for a 128 bank and the sound designer may well have spent over an hour on a preset, its not really that expensive at all.

If some of us sound designers started charging rates that would equate to real job working hours it would probably be higher (indeed Vengeance charge their soundsets at a higher rate).

Some people are happy to pay for presets, some not. Christ, some people are even happy to pay for skins. If people wanna pay, that's fine.

My own thing with the presets available as add-ons for Sylenth is that they all seem trance based which is a shame for me as I hate trance!

I've only just got Sylenth anyway, so what with all the presets that come with it plus my own tweaking, I certainly have enough to be getting on with. But for the future, assuming that it's around 20 euros for 128, not 64, (the ones I got with Sylenth are mine, thanks, I won't be paying for them again) is there any chance that we could see a non-tarnce based set? Both Adam and Arksun are clearly talented sound designers, just that the demo songs are a real turn off for me.

(BTW yeah, Vanguard charge more, in fact everything connected with reFex is, shall we say, on the pricey side, isn't it....as I said before, some people are even happy to pay for skins)

That would be cool! Many of the presets are trance-like, which can be useful for certain parts in songs, but it would be great to hear more of them in different styles.

Let me first underline that it's of course up to you how you set up your prices. But the explanation given above is only true under certain conditions. In short words: the more you sell the more your statement is wrong.
