All my renders seem to be 64 samples ahead of the triggering midi event.
So I did some tests:
- Different render setting in my host (Reaper 2.54)
- Turning on/off multiprocessor support etc.
- Different Asio buffers (4, 8 and 100 ms),
- Different sample frequences (44.1 and 88.2)
- Osc resolution.
- Osc drif on/off
- Smoth attach on/off
- Another host (XT 2.02)
- Another computer (AMD X2 3800 and my laptop Core 2 Duo)
- Also tested this in Zebra 2.2 as well as 2.31
But still, When I press render and look at the waveform the wave starts 64 samples ahead of the midi note.
I also tried this with another Vsti (Toxic III from Image line) and that rendered sample accurate.
I'm testing with the initialize preset with the following modifications:
- The Osc1 phase reset is turned ON.
- the amplitude is controlled by the gate and not envelope.
Just open your daw and add 4 16'th notes on every beat in a bar and render.
(Normalize) and zoom in on the second beat and you should see that the render is some samples ahead of time.
I hope this is not some silly mistake on my side or maybe you added time traveling in the last update as well?
Let me know if there is anything else you need to know of the problem
