You're talking about Zebra2 right ? I just tried assigning one parameter in Z2 to my midi controller and it worked as expected. Why should'nt it ?

Some hosts are not always terribly transparent about their MIDI routings. In some hosts you need to create a dedicated track for an fx plugin in order to feed MIDI to it.
Starting with Uhbik, all future releases of my stuff will have a MIDI indicator light. This way you can see whether or not MIDI is on.

that is an option, you can change it err...somewhere. it's actually a very cool implementation when you use e.g. ten different zebras in a song. you can save the midi learned stuff as fx chain or track template.politcat wrote: the track needs to be record armed. wtf?!
even more cooler would be if zebra's own midi learn were channel sensitive OR if the automation parameters had more meaningful names.
i have been toying with this thing at midevice.com to get midi feedback to my bcr2000 from zebra (that would be uber-cool) but no success so far.
