Zone in MUX

Is there any way to assign a Zone to a PlugIn in MUX ?
Say Albino for Bass and Zebra for a Lead and Reverb only for the Zebra etc.?
Combinator style....or a way around it?
What I'm thinking is a kind of an Event Input Gate so that only a specific range of notes triggers the PlugIn Synth or Effect or whatever is in the chain.
That would allow to have anything kicking in at the precise time including an effect.
MUX seems to be a perfect tool for this.

MU.LAB does not yet have a built-in 'Note Range' plugin but it's on the whishlist.
But i think you should be able to find it in VST version.
Have a look here : http://www.niallmoody.com/ndcplugs/ndcmidi.htm

Perfect, Thank you.
Since is on the whishlist it would be nice if the "Note Range" device could be used as a Gate Switch for an Audio Signal in a MUX chain.
If I am playing a Synthia in a MUX setup I could have a Delay play only on certain note range etc. I could send the Audio from Synthia to several "Note Range" PlugIns and control the entire keyboard mapping at a completely different level. It can be done with the one you just recommended but I need an Instance of Synthia for every control flow.
Anyway just an idea.
Thank again for the tip.

Can't you do this by using an ADSR + Amplifier.liquidsound wrote:Perfect, Thank you.

Please see the 'Note Gater' MUX patch.
When you press a note the audio is getting thru, on note off it will be cut off. All using the attack, decay, sustain and release parameters.

It works but the Release bleeds into the next Zone for the length of the Release-Time assigned and a can't do without it, and Sustain cuts off when leaving the Zone.mutools wrote:Can't you do this by using an ADSR + Amplifier.

I may have to use several Instances of the same plugin.
How does the Amplifier works?
If I use for example 5 Synths and 5 effects, each with a different Zone, is my CPU being taxed more by their presence even though one Synth/Effect pair is used at any given time? (I am referring to a MUX setup).

BTW you have no idea how much I am enjoying the MUX, I am a Combinator maniac in Reason. I just wish I knew in depth all of the "Others" components that could be used in the MUX.
It would be great if a Topic could be dedicated for this by more experienced users.
As you have noticed I'm coming from a Reason Tunnel world, great one but a world apart, and I am sure MuLab is attracting many users alike.
