Hmm, I've been messing around with Zebra2 trying to figure out a way of getting Zebra to re-trigger itself when holding chords. My best guess is to used the MSEG and input a nice pattern, and then set the MSEG to modulate......????
I've had a look at the online manual and can't figure out where I'd need to send MSEG to get it to retrigger (until I release the chord).
Thanks for any info you can give

I have a Mac, haven't used it on my PC, so it might be different keys.
In the MSEG tab, CTRL click on the first point, and choose loop start. Then ctrl click on the last point and choose loop end. To loop a MSEG you need a loop start and an end. Maybe with PC you just right click a point or try ctrl-click should work.
take care,
Michael

Another way is to skip the MSEG and turn on the arpeggiator. Set the arp step lengths and number of steps as needed. Set Voices to the maximum (6) at each step. Set Oct to 0. The only limitation here is that you can't play chords of more than 6 notes. (Well, you can play them, but Zebra will split them into 6-note combos.)

There are many, many ways to do this kind of thing (including looping envelopes or LFOs). The following use MSEG:Breame wrote:I've had a look at the online manual and can't figure out where I'd need to send MSEG to get it to retrigger (until I release the chord).
1) Set Env1 decay and sustain to minimum, use the looping MSEG to modulate Env1 sustain. While you're at it, try changing the MSEG Trigger mode (Poly, Single, Mono).
2) Use the MSEG to modulate e.g the Volumes of individual modules.
3) If you modulate Volume in Voice Mix (below the main grid), it's often best to turn your MSEG upside down (look in the context menu of the MSEG) and use a negative amount of modulation. This is because Volume here gets SCALED, not added to. Enjoy!

Ah, this is why I can never modulate the volume in the positive direction. It's a feature, not a bug!
