Please begin Drummies for Dummies manual here.

Maybe we can contribute to making the manual better and possibly enhance the intuitiveness of the program.

Or just tips and tricks for how to do what you want/need to do...

Ouky douky! Come on questions! ;-)

Here's a question for you: When adding user samples to the drum editor, is it possible to assign more than 1 sample on the same velocity range, and have them act as round-robin or simultaneous? (I haven't tested this yet. In addition, is there a sample/bit rate limit?)

Also, is it possible to change individual note velocity in the rhythm editor, as opposed to following a graph? (overlapping values aren't of a help)

Using the "mode" in basic drum parameters you can specify which layer will be played:
- The first one that can handle the velocity.
- Random one from those that can handle the velocity.
- All of them.

It is not exactly round robin (random mode), but the results are pretty similar.
And no, there is no limitation for sample-rates (I believe that in most software this limitation is artifical, created for marketing purposes, or possibly the silliness in the design... except some specific cases of course).
Bit rate can vary from 8 to 32 bits per sample (which I think is maximum limit anyway ;-)).

I think I don't understand this one. Of course you can change individual note velocities (among many other parameters such as offsets, inaccuracy, probability...).

Fantastic. :)

Yeah perhaps. (not on test computer atm) Just going from what I've tested, the velocities would change in such a fashion that follows the graph. Can't exactly remember clicking a note then changing its individual velocity.

Nice tutorial videos. I enjoyed the jazz piano and mdrummer accompaniment on chaper 1 vid plus the midi control tutorial in chapter 2 was helpful.
Are you planning any more vids to be released soon?

Hi folks after christmas! ;-)

Sure! There will be more tutorials. These were just necessary, so we did it in order to be able to finish the DVD (which is going to be released in 2-3 weeks probably). After then there will be more tutorials, more drumsets, more rhythms... ;-)
