Might have something to do with the SSE implementation as used by AMD??
eventually I'll test later this evening

Seems the de-zipper won't work here properly, I'll put that on the list.Dandruff wrote:Some things:

Same with the Dry/Wet knob.
Also when tweaking the Dry/Wet knob and the Output knob a bit faster you can hear zipper-noise! Any chance to get them "sound" better when tweaking?
I just did not extended that knob focus to the display. Can do that if needed or wished for consistency.3. You can tweak all the time parameters also by dragging the numerical time-readout display. Why can't we do the same on the numerical readout for the output volume?
In which hosts are you working and does it appear? Can other confirm this?5. Just found the first real BUG:
I can make the early reflection's time knobs to disappear once in a while! Very strange thing. A knob can disappear sometimes on CTRL+Click. Another click makes is re-appear. But
All those hosts has been tested sucessfully during the beta and are known to work.Looks good. Won't run in Wavelab Essential, EnergyXT2, minihost, FLStudio8, Reaper 2.54.
AMD2000XP, 1gb, WinSP3.
To other FL users: is that a regular behaviour with eV in FL?The one weird thing it's doing is every preset I select shows "AB: On" in the status bar in FLStudio, rather than the name of the preset.
right, designed for the send bus. The global override was already implemented but had some serious issues during the tests so I had to remove it for now. Maybe it will appear in a later version again.Sickle wrote:
Runs fine in eXt v1.4. Why are all the presets 100% wet?
ConfusedI'd say because reverb is most often used as a send? Personally, I'm glad they're 100% wet, for that purpose, although maybe the best thing is when there is a global override for wet/mix, like with AAR and the UAD stuff.
Cool, my stuff is getting more and more PT users these daysWorks perfect in PT 8 as far as I can tell.
I had already some other problem reports on the Orion host in the past, but unfortunately I can't support this host.but it crashed Orion 7.61 on a Core 2 Duo E8500 and Athlon XP 2600
Yeah, it seems to happen. Normally FL will show whatever parameter name/value combination on the status bar (by querying getParameterName/getParameterDisplay/getParameterLabel) when you use setParameterAutomated, such that when the user drags a control in an editor (which would typically use setParameterAutomated to notify the host), FL will also show the textual info on status bar.bootsie wrote:To other FL users: is that a regular behaviour with eV in FL?The one weird thing it's doing is every preset I select shows "AB: On" in the status bar in FLStudio, rather than the name of the preset.
Indeed weird, I'll have to investigate that further. Thanks for the input!mystran wrote:Yeah, it seems to happen. So I guess you run a batch of setParameterAutomated for certain parameters when changing preset with the AB being the last one? If one does a preset change while recording, you get automation for "10sec", "HiQ1", "OnOff", "HiQ2" and "AB" so I guess those are the ones setParameterAutomated is used for? Seems a bit weird, so I guess it's a mistake?
Thanks!bootsie wrote:Seems the de-zipper won't work here properly, I'll put that on the list.Dandruff wrote:Some things:

Yeah, would be great.bootsie wrote:I just did not extended that knob focus to the display. Can do that if needed or wished for consistency.3. I'm using Reaper 2.54 as host.bootsie wrote:In which hosts are you working and does it appear? Can other confirm this?5. Just found the first real BUG:

Yes, but if you deselect "Record parameter changes" in the FL wrapper's extra options menu, then the status bar will show the preset names correctly. (But the parameter changes within the plugin (when tweaking knobs) will not be shown anymore though.)bootsie wrote:To other FL users: is that a regular behaviour with eV in FL?The one weird thing it's doing is every preset I select shows "AB: On" in the status bar in FLStudio, rather than the name of the preset.
