Ahhhh ... so Uhbik = Ubiquitous U-he. Now I understand better.Urs wrote:Because they're all the same. The name of the .dll is queried for i.e. "-S" or "-s" and if that term is in there, the plugin operates as Uhbik-S.rockmachine wrote:Urs,
Why, if you renamed the dlls. might they all end up as flangers when you tried loading the different FX?
All the installer does, it installs Uhbik-F.dll, makes 7 renamed copies and that's it. This way the download is small and my dramas during releases are kept in healthy boundaries. I need to compile only once (saves an hour ot two) and I know that all bugfixes whatsoever are automatically available in all plugs.
However, Uhbik-Shifter.dll etc. shall work.

If you read the book by Philip K. Dick, you will understand ... a very clever, but weird, kinda guy. The term "insane genius" never meant so muchfoosnark wrote:That's weird. Clever, but weird.

I'll have to pick that up... Philip K. Dick is one my favorite all time authors. My pops got me stuck on his writings long ago.ZenPunkHippy wrote:If you read the book by Philip K. ...I have not read this one, so should be fun.
I just have to finish reading Boomsday first. I'm still waiting for the book to get funny... soon I hope

Please have a look:
http://www.u-he.com/uhbik2
This is the website that will become uhbik.com in a few hours... I'd be grateful if everybody could check downlaods and stuff...
Oh yes, the downloads come with factory presets!
Are there any issues?
Thanks,
Urs

Everything looks great on my end...
The site is easily navigable.
I downloaded/installed the latest just fine; there are no problems with the install.

Completely safe (but probably not to be used as directed) on MacOS 10.5.6

Working fine in Safari / OS X. Nice clean pages / design! All downloads seem good.
Gotta say Uhbik-T is just the business for me right now. Took me a while to understand exactly how it works, almost there ... it is going to see a lot of usage in my tracks.
Looking forward to trying the presets, thanks!!
Peace,
Andy.
